Paine Field
You can ride the bike path a mile to Paine field. There are four baseball fields, two baseketball courts, skateboard park, tennis courts, and two playgrounds for the kids.
Johnsons Pond
Johnson's Pond, along with allowing all types of boats and boating activities has many special events such as a big 4th of July firework display and annual water ski show. All types of water sports are enjoyed. Wakeboarding Magazine named Johnsons Pond as the best spot in Rhode island for wakeboarding. Personal watercraft are allowed at Johnson pond even though they are banned at some other local water bodies. Water skiing is popular here due to the elongated shape of the reservoir, with tubing, power boating and sailing.
Greenway Bike Path.
The Greenway bike path abuts the campground. It is a developing 3,000 mile long trail that will span from Canada to Key West, FloridaL. 47 percent of the Rhode Island path is finished.
